"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves." - William Shakespeare.
My opinion: The Fault in Our Stars was an amazing book, it was funny and really awesome. It made me realise that there isn't that much if a line from being alive and death to be right in your doorstep in a matter of days and that "The world is not a wish granting factory." I recommend it for girls and boys 14+

Pandemic: Spanish Flu
The dreadful virus decimated New Zealand's population.
It started in 1918 at the beginning of World War 1 and killed over 6,300 people.
I enjoyed the book, it was great, I liked reading about New Zealand's history and learning about life in the early 1900's such as how you could get locked up in a chamber just for spiting on the footpath.
I would recommend this book to a older audience because of the violent language and the horrible violence.
